Primary Responsibilities: • Set up CNC Lathe machines to run production as needed • Troubleshoot problems during CNC production to minimize non-conformances. • When problems rise, notify the superior (Cell Lead) • Use calipers, mics, indicators while performing setups to ensure machines and fixtures are set correctly • Use basic math skills to determine and conduct tool offsets • Read CMM reports generated from parts that were ran through production to ensure quality standards and specs are being met • Dress and set tools for the CNC machines • Operate multiple machines • Perform Daily 5S (Cleaning) • Conduct daily machine visual inspections and ensure coolant levels are adequate. • Other duties as requested.
