CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN Job Responsibilities & Requirements HVAC Service Tech for company that handles service work and site maintenance for national accounts. • Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction • Uses a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units. • Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer’s location. • Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as need or requested by customers. • Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary. • Inspects vehicles by checking vehicle condition and cleanliness • Maintains vehicles by keeping records of service, scheduling, and complete repairs and maintenance service • Maintains equipment by inspecting for signs of wear. Physical Work Requirements & Conditions • Lifting up to 80 lbs. • Working from heights. • Frequently climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead. • Working in adverse conditions (i.e., extreme cold, extreme hot). • Driving for long periods of time. • Climbing a ladder with a 300 lb weight limit while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs. • Climbing a ladder up to 30 feet. • Must be available for 24x7 on-call rotation Desired experience and technical skills Required • High School diploma or GED equivalent, technical training or degree. • Universal EPA / CFC license • Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in the technical aspects of packaged HVAC, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair and maintenance.
