Job Title: HVAC Supervisor Location: Decatur, Alabama Employment Type: Full-Time Pay: $34-$38 Based On Experience Per Diem: Eligibility Based Upon Mileage Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to oversee the installation, fabrication, and maintenance of HVAC and sheet metal systems on commercial and industrial projects in the Decatur, AL area. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on technical expertise, and a proven ability to manage crews, schedules, and project quality. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate daily HVAC and sheet metal field operations. • Lead crews in the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems and ductwork. • Review blueprints, specifications, and job orders to plan and assign work efficiently. • Ensure all work meets company standards, safety regulations, and project deadlines. • Inspect completed work to verify quality and adherence to design specifications. • Manage material and equipment orders, deliveries, and inventory. • Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and other trades. • Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to field personnel. • Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and job progress. Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC and/or sheet metal installation and fabrication. • Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role. • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, duct fabrication, and installation methods. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Commitment to safety and quality standards. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications: • OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training. • EPA Universal Certification. • Experience in commercial or industrial HVAC projects.
