Level I tech will always be paired with a partner or working with a team POSITION: HVAC Technician - Level 2 OPENINGS: 3 Duration: 6 month c2h Location: Huntsville, AL - 4900 Meridian St N 35811 Working Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm - rotating on call schedule with some weekend work Pay: $27/hr -$34.50/hr Day to day: -Checks, services, cleans, and replaces filters in all A/C air handling and heating units and documents the same. -Cleans and maintains grills, ducts, and shaft ways in A/C, ventilating, and exhaust systems. -Understands and demonstrates knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration codes and practices, and coordinates work between/with other trades. -Completes preventative maintenance as scheduled and keeps records -Responds to any emergency repair/maintenance situation as required -Maintains critical inventory needed to keep operations running; maintains and accounts for tools used -Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers Must Haves: • 4-7 years of experience working commercial HVAC • EPA Certification • Experience in service and maintenance • Brief install experience Strong Plusses: • HVAC degree from a trade school or program • Journeyman license from any state Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00 - $34.50 per hour Work Location: In person
