Job Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems. • Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and diagnostic tools. • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety regulations. • Conduct field service calls to diagnose problems and provide effective solutions for clients. • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper HVAC design and installation in new builds or renovations. • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices for repairs. • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Skills • Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R systems. • Experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair and property maintenance. • Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding HVAC design principles. • Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC installations. • Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. • Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for equipment repairs. • Experience in field service roles with hands-on troubleshooting skills. • Understanding of safety protocols related to HVAC maintenance and repair.
