Position Description: An HVAC technician, or a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technician, will be responsible for installing and repairing various air quality systems, including PTACs, at Delta Lodging Group’s 15 hotels in 7 Delta towns. The tech’s main duties include locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, conducting warranty services and quickly performing emergency repairs on certain equipment items. The tech will be responsible for keeping this equipment clean, fixed and maintained for customers. Work Hours: Minimum 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Weekend and holiday hours may be required. Duties And Responsibilities • PLC systems for HVAC • HVAC System repairs / upgrades • Maintain Freon usage Log • Ventilation system installations & maintenance • Gas distribution line install / maintenance • Machine repair • Troubleshoot and correct setups, tooling and malfunctions • Operate the personnel lifts • Operate forklifts • Perform repairs and adaptions of equipment, such as; changing air, grease and coolant lines, switches, belts, guards • Fabricate miscellaneous items out of wood, metal and Plexiglas • Build or fabricate labels, devices, etc. to improve quality and production • Use hand and power tools • Move equipment • Plumbing, welding, construction of metal/wood, brazing, soldering, maintenance and inventory supply check in / out using CMMS system • Lookup MRO parts using CMMS system, if not available provide all relevant information to clerk, engineer or manager for prompt order of repair parts and rebuild machines as required • All non-routine machine maintenance and upkeep machines as required • Evaluate / repair / replace electrical motors and component • Wire machines • Install new equipment to meet all production needs • Basic PLC maintenance • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area • Practice 5Ss Knowledge, Skills And Abilities • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints • Certified fork lift operator • Welding • Industrial electricity/wiring • ARI EPA Certification for purchase / use of Freon Education And Experience Requirements • 40 semester hours of industrial trade training or 5 years HVAC experience • Qualified electrician and basic electronics Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
