Job Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating units, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems. • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system designs. • Perform troubleshooting on HVAC/R systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions. • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. • Weld and fabricate components as necessary for repairs or installations. • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. • Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately. • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Experience • Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair is required. • Familiarity with field service operations is preferred. • Skills in appliance repair are a plus. • Experience with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems is advantageous. • Ability to design HVAC systems based on client specifications is desirable. • A valid driver's license is necessary for driving company vehicles to job sites. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Preventative Maintenance Technician (HVAC)

The position of HVAC Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance on commercial and /or residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This position will ensure HVAC equipment operates efficiently, complies with manufacturer guidelines and avoids unexpected breakdowns through schedule inspections and services. This position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, knowledge or abilities associated with this classification but is intended to accurately reflect the primary job elements. • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment including air handers, RTU’s chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and spilt systems. • Inspect and replace filters, belts, and other, consumable as required. • Clean cooling towers. • Lubricate motors, bearing and other moving parts. • Check system performance and functionality; report abnormalities or repair needs. • Clean condenser and evaporator coils, drain lines, and pans. • Monitor refrigerant levels and pressures, report anomalies. • Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used. • Performs all work in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, regulations and standards of safety and quality. • Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members • Assist with basic troubleshooting; escalate complex issues as needed. • Performs other related duties as assigned or directed. Requires High School diploma or GED and HVAC certification (e.g. EPA 608 universal). Two years of experience in HVAC maintenance or related field preferred. Knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, tools, and safety protocols. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED). Degree Equivalency Formula Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience. Master’s Degree= 2 years plus required years of experience.
