See More Details >>About the position Responsibilities • Ensures prompt completion of assigned projects, within budget, and with complete customer satisfaction. • Re-analyzes and plans project in conjunction with the Field Superintendent, developing schedules, labor allocation, material delivery, etc. • Communicates submittal status, project changes, and overall project progress to the team until successful completion. • Creates, develops, transmits, and tracks project submittal documents assuring adherence to project specifications. • Develops, transmits, and tracks project PCO's and subsequent issuance of change orders from contractors and owners, securing all required approval signatures before work proceeds. • Reviews design changes to identify cost or schedule impacts and reports scope/schedule impact to the contractors. • Reviews contracts from contractors and/or owners for compliance with contract documents and agreement with company proposal and scope of work. • Reads and reviews contracts and estimates to perform risk analysis and develop risk plans. • Meets with owners and contractors to discuss scope of project, budgets, performance expectations, and closeout, developing and tracking project closeout documents. • Estimates and supports the sales and estimating functions by aiding with quote preparation and bid proposals. • Establishes an operations budget for assigned projects by revising the original estimate based on validated project scope and maintains project budget to forecasted values. • Estimates as needed in preparing sub-contractor request for quotations (RFQ) including scope statements, plans and milestone dates, specs, bonding requirements, and billing schedule of values. • Manages project cash flow, progress billing, collections support and monitoring, and resource management. • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, communicating with customers about actions taken to satisfy their concerns. • Completes weekly progress reports and presents updates at weekly Construction department meetings. • Emphasizes and shows commitment to a safe work environment, requiring full safety compliance from all participating employees and subcontractors. • Informs senior management of any issue or concern prior to the issue having any probability of putting the company at risk. • Walks the project, documenting all communication/notes given and received from the GC, Subs, ATMAC foreman or other trades to use in the event of scope, schedule, or contract disputes. Requirements • 6+ years of HVAC commercial construction experience. • Strong project management skills in commercial HVAC. • Ability to develop and track project schedules and budgets. • Excellent communication skills for team and client interactions. • Experience in risk analysis and contract compliance.
