Shift - Wednesday to Saturday, Day Shift, OT as needed What this job involves - The Maintenance Technician is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment. Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, heating and wiring, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards and scheduling major repairs with the building’s inhabitants. What is the day to day? • Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and potential issues • Perform preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations Troubleshoot and repair various building systems and equipment • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes • Collaborate with other team members and external contractors as needed • Assist in the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and new technologies Desired experience or technical skills - Required • High school diploma or equivalent • 2+ years of experience in building maintenance or a related field • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing • Proficiency in using hand and power tools • Basic computer skills for maintenance management systems • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints • Strong problem-solving and communication skills • Flexibility to work overtime, as needed, including, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations Preferred • Technical school certification preferred • Familiar using CMMS (computer maintenance management system) • EPA Universal #HVACjobs

Job Summary $5000 SIGN ON BONUS!!! We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. Your primary job function would be to provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Provide feedback to Service Manager regarding technical training needs, inventory and retail pricing. Residential HVAC Service technicians install and repair home heating and air quality systems, as well as refrigeration systems. They might specialize in installation or repair, certain types of systems or equipment. Prior to installing an HVAC system, technicians review specifications and explain to clients the varying product options. Once an agreement has been reached, they set up the system, which can include installing pumps and air ducts. Residential HVAC technicians may periodically return to check up on the system and perform any preventative maintenance, as well as troubleshoot system issues as they arise; they adjust system settings and conduct performance tests using specialized tools. Additionally, residential HVAC technicians may be responsible for selling maintenance contracts to customers.
