Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Job Title: Journeyman Commercial HVAC Principal Duties And Responsibilities • Knowledge of chiller systems, refrigeration, heat pump, and HVAC equipment • Responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. • Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment such as vacuuming, cleaning, changing filters, and oiling parts. • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems. • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems. Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.) • 5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC • Must have an EPA Certification (608) Universal License • Commercial experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician • Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments. • Participates in the ongoing training available to our crews to keep updated on the newest equipment and latest software for HVAC equipment. • Strong oral and written communication required. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas. • Ability to read and understand blueprints. • Valid Driver’s license and able to maintain a good driving record.
