HVAC Service Technician

Description Full time with a competitive pay and great benefits (health insurance, IRA match, paid vacation, bonuses, and more). You will be responsible for managing a territory and servicing accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting all their HVAC service requests, and ensuring customers receive outstanding customer service from all HVAC departments. Lead HVAC Installer

About Homepatible Homepatible provides top-quality HVAC, smart home, and water heater solutions to homeowners. We are seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our team and help deliver outstanding service to customers across San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties. What You’ll Do • Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems (air conditioning, heating, and ventilation). • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems. • Ensure all installations meet California Title 24 energy efficiency standards and local building codes. • Perform start-up testing on new HVAC systems to verify proper operation. • Maintain accurate job documentation and inventory of materials and tools. • Provide excellent customer service, educating homeowners on system usage and maintenance. • Work safely and efficiently, following Cal/OSHA workplace safety standards. What We’re Looking For • Minimum 2 years of HVAC installation experience preferred (but open to apprentices with strong work ethic). • EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal required). • California HVAC Certification or C-20 License is a plus. • Strong understanding of Title 24 energy codes and California mechanical codes. • Ability to work in confined spaces, lift heavy equipment, and handle physically demanding work. • Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Strong teamwork and communication skills – you’ll work closely with customers and team members.
