Brown Point Facility Management Solutions, LLC. is looking to hire an HVAC Maintenance Technician to be assigned to a commercial office building. The HVAC Technician would have the following responsibilities (this list is not all inclusive): HVAC Technician Responsibilities: • Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. • Maintaining and repairing pumps. • Maintaining and repairing cooling towers. • Maintaining and repairing boilers. • Identifying maintenance risks on equipment. • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. • Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing services. • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. • Providing technical direction and on-the-job training. • Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions. • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act. • Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. • Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment. • Handles necessary repairs and maintenance. • Installs equipment and appliances. • Follows local and state building codes. • Complies with all company safety regulations. • Keeps a maintenance log and writes shift reports. • Reports any issues to the maintenance manager or clients. • Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion. • Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles if needed. • Follows written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager or clients. • Collaborates with the maintenance team and contractors as needed. • Reads and follows manuals, blueprints, and other written instructions. • Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
