HVAC Supervisor

Amentum is seeking a Supervisor. Typical work schedule may vary based on business demand. The Supervisor is responsible for technical support, direction, safety training, audits and quality control for Amentum facility, production and/or contract employees in a fast-paced industrial production environment. The Supervisor is responsible for the prioritization of work based on the needs of the client and for the on-time completion of all work, as well as all documentation involved. Provides and / or schedules needed training and cross-training for multi-functional employees. Implements all safety rules and guidelines for all Amentum employees. The Supervisor is also responsible for scheduling, planning, documentation, maintaining performance and reporting with Amentum management team and client. Compensation & Benefits HIRING SALARY RANGE: $50.00 - $74.00 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.) For more detailed information on our Benefits and what it is like to work for Amentum please visit our career site: www.amentumcareers.com Responsibilities: • Monitors and/or manages the entry of correct documentation and scheduled maintenance via Maximo/SAP. • Manages reactive/corrective maintenance as it is reported and distributes to available technicians. • Leads safety program for the worksite and maintains reporting associated with safety activities. • Audits work performance for safety actions and quality of work, and provide coaching as needed. • Reviews new job requests to differentiate between in-scope and non-scope work, and addresses accordingly. • Maintains effective performance of individual employees and the worksite team. • Reviews and approves time reporting. • Compiles, maintains and presents various reports to Amentum management and client teams. • Participate and Document Cost savings and Root Cause Analysis. • Other duties as assigned by Manager. • Provide guidance to his / her direct reports as it relates to improving customer satisfaction and creating a hospitality mindset • Constantly measure customer perception of the services provided • Communicate effectively with staff and customers Minimum Requirements: • High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent. • Ten years of experience in a technical role related to industrial Production Maintenance and/or industrial Facilities Maintenance, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience. • Five years of supervisory experience in in industrial Production Maintenance and/or industrial Facilities Maintenance. • Ability to work from aerial lifts and scissors lift from height up to 30ft. and above Physical Requirements: • Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement. • Requires ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen. • Requires ability to use a variety of office equipment and to operate a computer keyboard to access data bases, to send/receive messages and to prepare documents. • Requires ability to attend meetings throughout the site and potentially travel to other Amentum, customer and/or vendor locations in the area, as well as some air travel to more distant locations. • Requires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings, and presentations. • Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line. • Requires some moving of light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets and other storage locations. • Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress. Special Requirements: • Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed. • Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained. • Familiarity with facilities equipment descriptors such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. • Experience working in purchasing or subcontracting in a manufacturing, maintenance, or a related service field. • Experience with CMMS. • Experience overseeing storeroom operations. • Experience streamlining and improving inventory practices. Other Attributes: • Must be willing to work overtime when required. • May be required to work holidays and weekends. This includes but is not limited to; opportunities for improved asset reliability, improved quality results, safer work conditions, and lower maintenance cost, improved work plans to increase efficiency. • Experience creating Power Point presentation and giving presentation in front of large audiences • Experience with the development and training of a multi-skilled technical workforce • Experience creating metrics and data mining for driving performance results • Experience utilizing Continuous Improvement disciplines such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, 4 M’s, etc. Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. HVAC Technician, Full Time Days

Job Summary General facility maintenance and repair duties as directed. Pneumatic and direct digital control experience. Knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration including ice machines. Experienced in troubleshooting and repair of HVAC equipment. Ability to cut and thread pipe to meet base fabrication needs. Maintain and install filter systems. Some knowledge of medical gas systems. Install and maintain circulating pumps. Knowledge of high-pressure steam boilers and delivery systems. Estimate and requisition materials needed for projects.
