Your Responsibilities Will Include: • Complies with all applicable standards, policies and procedures, including safety procedures in the performance of assigned tasks. • Utilizes proper hoisting and rigging procedures for placing equipment and auxiliary components. • Obtains and maintains required certifications/licenses as applicable. • Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains mechanical systems, supports and related equipment for all types of mechanical/industrial operations. • Demonstrates the ability to read and understand project specifications, system operations and blueprints. • Cuts, bends, assembles, installs, and connects various mechanical components utilizing necessary tools and equipment. HVAC Driver and Warehouse Specialist

Join Our Team as an HVAC Driver and Warehouse Specialist! Are you a customer-focused professional excited by new challenges in the HVAC sector? Baker Distributing Company is searching for a dependable and detail-oriented Driver and Warehouse Specialist to join our dynamic team! You will play a vital role as the face of our company, ensuring timely and safe delivery of HVAC products to our valued clients while providing exceptional customer service. Position Summary As an integral member of Baker Distributing, you will contribute significantly to our operations and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities include safely delivering products to our esteemed customers and maintaining warehouse operations between deliveries. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as a professional representative of Baker Distributing Company. • Perform daily loading and unloading of HVAC products for customer deliveries and other Sales Centers. • Collect signed invoices and return them to the Sales Center Manager. • Assist in warehouse tasks including inventory counting, order picking, and verification. • Conduct daily checks on truck maintenance and report merchandise returns. • Adhere strictly to company safety protocols and procedures, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. • Report any safety concerns or incidents to management immediately. • Participate in ongoing safety training and drills regularly. • Ensure proper handling and storage of products to eliminate accidents and injuries. • Operate the truck and warehouse equipment following all safety guidelines. • Keep both your truck and workspace clean and organized to prevent hazards. • Ensure all loading/unloading actions are executed safely. • Undertake other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED is required. • At least 1 year of truck driving experience. • Box truck delivery experience is preferred. • Must have a clean driving record, free of restrictions, suspensions, or DUI convictions in the past 3 years. • DOT Physical card must be current prior to employment. • Ability to pass DOT physical examination requirements. • CDL license is highly desirable. • Warehouse experience, specifically operating a forklift or appliance lift, is a plus. • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and provide exceptional service. • A passion for learning and growth within the company. • Must be 21 years of age or older. • Hold a valid Driver's License.
