See More Details >>About the position The Journeyman HVAC position involves performing maintenance and repairs on various building mechanical equipment and systems, specifically focusing on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration. The role requires diagnosing, inspecting, and servicing HVAC systems while ensuring compliance with building codes. The position is full-time, with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, but may require availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Responsibilities • Plan, prioritize, and complete assigned work orders using a Computerized Maintenance Management System. , • Inspect, diagnose, repair, modify, and install mechanical equipment including refrigeration and air conditioning systems. , • Conduct regular preventive maintenance schedules and inspections on HVAC units and make necessary adjustments or repairs. , • Perform building automation systems management and food service equipment repairs. , • Repair and maintain low pressure hot water systems, gas wall heaters, and ventilation units. , • Procure pricing from vendors for tools, equipment, supplies, and parts. , • Adjust and install various HVAC components such as switches, gauges, and valves. , • Ensure all HVAC and refrigeration systems meet current building codes. , • Provide training and resources to team members to improve skillsets through cross-training. , • Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent. , • 7 years of experience in light/heavy commercial construction or service teams performing service, repair, and installation of mechanical systems. , • HVAC Class B/Limited Journeyman License or equivalent mechanical experience documentation. , • EPA I & II or Universal License and HVAC Certification. , • Valid driver's license.
