Summary: General Description: This position provides service work on commercial heating and air conditioning equipment for the Division of Property and Facilities. Supervision Received: HVAC/R Superintendent. Supervision Exercised: None Responsibilities: • Installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing/piping equipment, machinery and controls located in the interior and exterior of building • Capable of servicing all refrigeration equipment and air conditioning up to 1000 Tons industrial Centravac chillers • Performs the repair and maintenance of building infrastructure systems (excludes major original equipment manufacturer tear down maintenance) • Perform tests and analyzes data to ensure the proper functioning of all assigned equipment • Comply with all written and verbal instructions from supervisors to protect the critical load and preserve the uninterrupted availability of the site infrastructure • Answer and assist with service calls as assigned • Install and maintain ice machines, multi-boxes and walk-in coolers • Assist with the maintenance of the industrial Centravac (Chill Water) plant. Operating, maintaining, repairing and installing piping, pumps, valves, boilers, compressors and other mechanical systems, equipment and automatic controls • Provide mileage totals at end of month for monthly report • Completes and submits all logs, reports and required paperwork to line of support - Completes all required paperwork including: Machine seal requests and approvals from the Gaming Commission • Compiles gaming machine list and log with all electronic gaming information for all facility machines • Completes games down log as they occur and report findings to Line of Support; posts information for nationwide access. • Updates progressive logs when new progressive machines arrive • Submits reports on work activities and progress of work to the supervisor • Performs all other duties as assigned Competencies: Essential: • Able to follow instructions, both written and oral • Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements • Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability • Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines • Knowledge to read and interpret blueprints • Establishes professional working relationships as appropriate • Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management Skills: Essential: • Basic Computer skills • Skilled in HVAC, plumbing, electrical • Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of products Experience: Essential: • 3 years directly related experience Education: Essential: • High School, GED or Equivalent Credentials: Essential: • Pass gaming background check • Pass general background check • Standard Driver's License • Forklift/Man Lift certification • HVAC Jouneyman License • Enviromental Protection Agency Certification Working Conditions: Nonessential: • Pass pre-employment drug test • May be on-call • Outside, all weather conditions • Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach • Frequently work in confined spaces (e.g. crawl space, tank) • Frequently work at heights • Sitting up to 25% of shift • Constantly lift and or carry over 100 lbs • Push/pull heavy carts or equipment of one or more types • May work night shift • May work weekend shift • Requires light travel • Hand-eye coordination, reach and grasp
