HVAC and Maintenance Technician

Job Summary Pay will be discussed at interview. We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various HVAC equipment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the capability to read and interpret schematics. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Duties • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including refrigeration units and ammonia refrigeration systems. • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment, ensuring efficient operation. • Conduct field service calls to assess customer needs and provide effective solutions. • Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems, including pumps, compressors, and controls. • Build and install HVAC systems according to specifications and industry standards. • Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. • Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of projects. • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to HVAC systems. Requirements • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repair and maintenance. • Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems. • Experience with ammonia refrigeration is preferred but not mandatory. • Ability to plumb and refrigerate systems effectively. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record may be required for field service roles. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
