Install Technician - HVAC Position Summary: To provide heating and air conditioning systems installation according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. Work start and end time: 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday. Facilities / HVAC Technician is responsible for maintenance of facility equipment such as HVAC units, Exhaust Fans, Wastewater System, Fire System, buildings/grounds, etc. This will require hands on repairs to multiple systems with different field requirements (piping, basic mechanical, basic electrical, refrigerant reclamation, refrigerant systems, pump rebuilds, etc.). The position does carry a company cell phone for use on site as well as responding in emergency situations! Key Responsibilities: • Perform building repairs to sinks, doors, floors, walls, drains, painting, furniture assembly/relocation, etc. • Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as repairs to entrance/exit gates, assembly/installation of signage, etc. • Work with contractors on associated equipment for preventative maintenance, repairs, and/or continuous improvements. • Responsible for keeping accurate and up-to-date records on all equipment. • Work additional hours/days as business needs instruct. • Initiate and/or implement safe work permits. Key Requirements: • High School Diploma • Waste Water Class D (required to achieve within 2 years of being on the job) • Experience with Large HVAC Systems (0-4 years) Preferred Certifications: • Refrigerant Reclamation • HazWoper Certification Every day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
