Sr. HVAC Service Technician

Tra Mar Mechanical, a Crete United Company is a Mechanical Solutions service provider in Northern Colorado Market. Headquartered in Greeley we provide service, maintenance, retro fit, tenant finish, new construction and sustainable energy products to small and large building owners, managers and agents including commercial, healthcare, institutional and municipal. The Sr. Service Technician is responsible for completing HVAC preventative maintenance and repairs independently. Tasked to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install commercial HVAC and related equipment, you will work from customer premise in support of project-based contractual requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner. Tra Mar Mechanical is seeking to find qualified technicians to help assist in installation, troubleshooting, repairs, solutions and management of your projects and maintenance contracts. Job Description • 5-10 years experience in commercial HVAC service. • Ability to train and develop junior technicians • Experience with commercial, multi-family and residential service calls and projects. • Must have a basic understanding of Rooftop Units, Split Systems, and Ductless Systems, • BAS Controls, Troubleshooting Cooling Towers, and Chillers. • Must be able to perform Preventative Maintenance, Diagnosis and Repair of these systems. • Ability to create relationships with clients and provide them remarkable service. • Communicating with customers and managers regarding service findings is essential. • Person interested in a career and not just a job. • Ability to excel within a team environment and willingness to help in all areas of the business. • Possess and respect a safety-first attitude, as safety always comes first at Tra Mar Mechanical. Commercial HVAC Technician

Tra Mar installs, services and maintains chillers, rooftop units, packaged systems, split systems, air handlers and energy efficient variable refrigerant flow/velocity units for a wide range of commercial clients, including office complexes, manufacturing, retail, government facilities and mission critical environments like healthcare, data centers and clean rooms. Tra Mar’s comprehensive array of commercial heating solutions includes hydronic boilers, furnaces and domestic hot water systems. Our company is looking to hire an experienced HVAC technician to troubleshoot, maintain and repair HVAC systems. Technician must have at least 5 years of HVAC Technician Service experience as well as an EPA certification. HVAC Technician Responsibilities • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair various commercial heating and cooling systems • Able to respond to heavy workload of service calls in a professional • Communicates effectively with customers, regardless of their level of technical knowledge; can explain to customer the cause of their problem and the remedy; if problem has not been repaired, offers explanation of situation and recommended next. • Able to follow and utilize troubleshooting guides to identify problems in a short period of time. • Uses proper tools and instruments while troubleshooting. • Incorporates solution techniques to assist other service representatives and helps resolve issues and customer problems. • Schedules arrival and departure with customers • Communicates tactfully to offer suggestions if system problems are caused by the customer. • Promptly and accurately completes all required paperwork. • Keeps supervisor and manager informed of new developments, changes, or customer complaints. • Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions • Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services. • Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. • Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications • Candidates must have at least 5 years of prior experience working as an HVAC technician or installer. • Candidates must have an EPA certification that is up to date and valid. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Knowledge and understanding of HVAC service techniques. • Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
