Key Responsibilities: • Service & Quality • Accurately diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems. • Perform same-day service where possible and adhere to company quality standards on every call. • Maintain full compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC codes and safety regulations. • Customer Satisfaction • Communicate effectively with customers, exceed expectations, and ensure complete satisfaction. • Address customer concerns professionally and promptly, ensuring solutions meet company guidelines. • Teamwork & Communication • Maintain continuous contact with the Service Manager and Dispatch for updates and issue resolution. • Document service reports accurately and submit timely administrative paperwork. • Model professionalism for the team - including appearance, truck cleanliness, communication, and attitude. • Performance & Compliance • Achieve assigned KPIs including first-call resolution rate, billing efficiency, and customer ratings. • Support emergency response schedules and participate in after-hours rotations. • Ensure zero material shrinkage and uphold vehicle inventory accountability. • Skill Development & Leadership • Participate in ongoing training programs and complete personal development plans. • Share knowledge and help train junior technicians as needed. • Promote company values and uphold ethical business practices. Qualifications: • Experience: Proven field service experience with HVAC systems, preferably across multiple system types. • Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. Able to read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and follow code compliance. • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction. • Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50 lbs., perform tasks on ladders, kneel, and work in variable environments. • Licensing: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. • Certifications: HVAC certifications preferred; willingness to participate in company-sponsored training. Responsibilities • Troubleshoot and diagnose commercial HVAC units at our customers’ sites. • Service commercial HVAC • Change compressors, fans and reclaim refrigerant. • Have experience working with commercial rooftop and air package units as well as rack air condition units. • Performs other duties as assigned.
