JOB DETAILS Location: Boulder, CO SALARY RANGE: Estimated $115,000 USD - $160,000 USD annually JOB SUMMARY The BGIF-BOSS contract is a defense contracting opportunity for the Space Systems Command, Air Force, which focuses on research and development in physical, engineering, and life sciences products and services. The Facility Engineer/Facility Engineer HVAC shall maintain the BGIF portion of the 6304 Spine Road, Boulder facility. The Facility Engineer/Facility Engineer HVAC shall: Ensure proper power, heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, space management, construction, security, and maintenance, as appropriate, for the interior workspaces and computer rooms in the BGIF. Maintain external equipment (i.e. backup diesel generators, satellite dishes, other external hardware) in BGIF controlled space external to the facility. Facility Engineer Facility Engineer HVAC shall maintain operation and cleanliness of the BGIF entry area including exterior entry steps and ramp, handrails, doors and windows, and outside break area adjacent to BGIF entry ramp. Create and present to the government at ATP+120 days a BGIF Maintenance Plan and update it annually (CDRL A006). The plan shall include preventative maintenance actions, approved upgrades to power, cooling or any other facility system to enable 99.96% uptime for power and cooling systems within the purview of Facility Engineer Electrician.
