Responsibilities: POSITION SUMMARY: Installs, services and repairs heating and air conditioning systems. Repairs or replaces parts such as switches, relays, fan motors, thermostats, and other components. Replaces filters, lubricates units and adjusts controls to ensure efficient operation. Monitors systems to ensure proper maintenance and performance. Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School diploma, GED or Higher Education. 2. Minimum of two years experience in HVAC required 3. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer. EDUCATION / LICENSURE: 1. Certification in HVAC required. 2. TDLR Registration preferred. HVAC Service Technician Position Available Employee Required Qualifications: • Perform routine preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems. • Diagnose HVAC system problems, recommend repairs, and perform repairs. • Repair or replace defective equipment and components on HVAC equipment. • Read and interpret wiring diagrams. • Comfortable with using technology.
