Currently, we have an immediate opening for an Experienced HVAC Service Technician who will be responsible for working with numerous system parts and mechanisms to maintain, diagnose, and correct HVAC system problems. This includes replacing parts and adjusting system controls for better performance by using special tools and diagnostic equipment. What We Offer: • Health - 50% employer paid • Dentalvision - 100% employer paid • Short-term disability - 100% employer paid • $10,000 life insurance - employer paid • AFLAC • Up to 2 weeks vacation depending on experience • Vested 401(k) retirement savings plan - up to 4% match • FSA or HSA • Company savings plan • Annual boot stipend • Uniforms and company vehicle provided/dispatched from home Pay Range: $38.00/hr.- $48.00 per hour, depending on experience- with a 90-review resulting in a wage increase Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, low rotation on-call schedule Job Duties: • Provides preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems. • Troubleshoots units that are not working and replace parts that are defective. • Performs related work as assigned. • Installs refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, pneumatic control, and humidity control systems. • Understanding and troubleshooting knowledge of the following: • Rooftop Units • Air Handling Units • Wet Systems • Cooling Towers • VAV Boxes • Variable Frequency Drives • Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations Required Qualifications: • Minimum 5+ years of experience specific to the commercial HVAC industry • Knowledge of the theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the trade • Possess own basic hand tools • EPA Universal certified • Knowledge of the operating principles and characteristics of the various types of refrigeration, pneumatic/DDC control, and air conditioning systems • Knowledge of basic electricity and control systems • Ability to apply the theory, technique, principles, and processes of the HVAC mechanic's trade • Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, or stand, lift, and move heavy objects Preferred Qualifications: • Chiller experience preferred • Experience with package units up to 60 tons

Candidates should reside in the Dickinson, North Dakota area, Core Responsibilities • Maintaining commercial package cooling systems on Cell Phone Towers – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems. • Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment. • Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment. • Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services. • Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports. • Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements. Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs. Core Experience • Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required). • 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred). • Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred. • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
