Maintenance Mechanic/HVAC (Union) (3rd Shift)

What this job involves: The Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. Partners with Team Members and Mobile Engineers in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including HVAC units, Boilers, Cooling Towers, walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc. What your day to day will look like: • Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other installed systems, equipment, and other components. • Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations. • General interior maintenance – hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems and repair doors. • Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed • Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested • Replace lighting and ballasts • Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts. Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • Have a minimum of 1- 3 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical. • Licenses as required by authority having jurisdiction • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and climb up to 30 ft ladders. • Position requires frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving. Preferred Qualifications: • Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary • Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them. • Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws. • Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduled • Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials. • Submit P-card Receipts • Update work order status in real time • Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed. • Perform Vehicle Safety Inspection • Escalating problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner • Any and all other duties and tasks assigned. HVAC Installer - Full Time

What You’ll Do • Install HVAC equipment following company policies and manufacturer specifications • Wire low-voltage heating and cooling equipment • Install copper refrigerant lines (brazing and soldering) • Build and install flex and sheet metal duct systems • Connect gas lines safely to heating equipment • Pre-measure and prepare job materials • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule • Maintain professional communication with supervisors, coworkers, and clients • Accurately complete all required job paperwork • Perform additional duties as assigned by management What We’re Looking For • Minimum 3 years HVAC installation experience • New construction installation experience required • Ductwork installation experience required • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify HVAC equipment • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Honest, dependable, and motivated with ability to work independently or in a team • Valid Michigan driver’s license with a clean driving record • Reliable transportation to job sites • Must pass a criminal background check • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs safely • Comfortable working in extreme temperatures (120°F or higher) for extended periods • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed • Ability to climb, stoop, crouch, crawl, and kneel as required
