Job Summary: As a 1099 HVAC Technician with ScoutWorks, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation services to both residential and commercial clients. This independent contractor position requires a versatile skill set to manage jobs of varying complexity, from basic repairs to extensive renovation projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, and ventilation systems. • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system inspections, and preventive maintenance. • Install new HVAC systems and components in accordance with industry standards and local codes. • Efficiently identify and troubleshoot issues, providing repair options and recommendations to ScoutWorks. • Communicate clearly with ScoutWorks, detailing service issues, costs, and available solutions. • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure customer satisfaction on every job. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC regulations and codes. • Manage work orders, invoices, and records for each job. Requirements: • Valid HVAC Technician license or certification in Colorado. • EPA Section 608 Certification (preferred). • Proven experience in residential and/or commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair. • Reliable transportation, tools, and equipment for HVAC repairs and installations. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple jobs. • Liability insurance and a valid driver’s license.
