Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

Walmart is expanding our workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our local retail store, your role will support and oversee repair within the Walmart facilities Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs. Minimum Qualifications: • 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance • Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience • Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling • Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent Job Duties: • Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs. • Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities. • Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls. • Inspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues. • Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely. • Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines by performing work according to practices and procedures outlined in the Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines. • Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and comfortable working at heights frequently Compensation: • Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080 • Currently offering a $2000 sign-on bonus (for select locations) • Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, level of job offer, qualifications and other job-related factors. • Eligible for bonus incentive Benefits & Perks: Beyond competitive pay, you can receive incentive awards for your performance. Residential Service Technician

Responsible for the installation, maintenance and service care of residential waste water treatment plants, lift stations and field installed equipment. Perform all duties in accordance with established safety procedures and applicable OHSA rules. Complete service records and record all parts used and vehicle related checks as needed. Maintain assigned equipment and vehicles and equipment as directed with a valid operator’s license. Execute assigned work in a timely manner to include service calls and plant labor as needed; document work performed. Exhibit appropriate behavior and dress when dealing with customers and inspectors. Develop skills and expertise related to electrical installation, panel operations, pump operation and residential service. The average hours worked is 45 hours per week. Specific points of emphasis include: - Service truck is maintained, cleaned and stocked for work - Assist your supervisor in preparing job documentation and paperwork - Be knowledgeable of job requirements and equipment needed - Identify any trouble areas, relay information back to your supervisor. - Plan work activities in advance with your supervisor for effective time management and safety - Avoid customer disagreements and promote good business practices - Comply with safety and work rules to include special equipment, dress and PPE. - Maintain physical fitness to include ladder climbing and the ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. - Comply with drug free workplace practices. - Display a level of motivation and a professional attitude in dealing with others. - Perform inventory and shop maintenance activities as needed. - Work in other areas of the plant when not performing service tasks.
