HVAC Service Technician

Job Description: HVAC Service Technician Dale Coates A/C & Heating is looking for an experienced, reliable and customer-oriented HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Big Spring, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing and maintaining HVAC equipment used in residential and commercial settings. You will work closely with our clients to ensure that their HVAC systems are operating effectively and efficiently. Responsibilities:-Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment such as air conditioning units, heating systems, ventilation, and refrigeration systems-Install new HVAC units and make recommendations on upgrades or replacement units -Conduct system testing and diagnose malfunctions using tools and technology to isolate the issue -Suggest and implement solutions to improve system performance and energy efficiency -Communicate with clients to explain repairs and answer any questions they may have -Adhere to safety guidelines and follow company policies and procedures at all times -Complete required paperwork, including service reports and equipment installation records Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or associate's degree considered a plus -Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician with knowledge of all systems and equipment -Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities -Valid driver's license with reliable transportation At Dale Coates A/C & Heating, we are committed to providing our clients with the highest level of service, and we seek a motivated technician who shares that goal. HVAC Intern (Gartman)

Job description: • Assist with residential and light commercial HVAC maintenance, removal and replacement of HVAC systems, diagnosing problems and repairs of systems including mechanical and refrigeration problems, solutions for air flow, and electrical components. • Learn to install sheet metal and flex duct systems, register boxes and grilles. • Learn to improve indoor air quality via proper filtration and indoor air pollution control and mediation. • Will learn proper tool and parts terminology, stocking and truck inventory control. • Will learn customer service and communication to be able to relate to customer needs and concerns involving all HVAC encounters. • Learn proper invoicing and estimating of jobs • Learn safe and proper testing and installation of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems • Learn proper PPE usage for jobs and encounters • Learn basic plumbing activities. Requirements: • 18 years of age • No minimum education but must be prepared to obtain a GED or high school diploma after hire • Some vocational training or current enrollment in vocational training is advantageous • Must be able to work in difficult, tight, hot, cold and often dirty conditions Hours: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm - flexible hours Attire: Jeans, t-shirts (no graphics/wording) and work boots, short hair or long hair must be pulled back for safety reasons.
