HVAC and Maintenance Technician

STONE CREEK APARTMENTS We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician who is performance driven, dependable and focused on the needs of our residents. Under the general direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property manager, the technician will strive for quality and excellence in service while completing the make ready process of vacant units and service orders in a timely fashion. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES but not limited to: DRYWALL- Repair or replace drywall. PAINT- full paint or touch up walls, ceilings and trim. CARPENTARY- Install interior and exterior doors- repair/replace sheet vinyl and subfloors. TRIM – repair decks and stairs-caulk doors, windows and floors. PLUMBING- repair or install sinks, toilets, faucets, water pipes, unclog drains, replace/repair hot water heaters. ELECTRICAL- Install light fixtures, switches, smoke detectors, ceiling fans, GFI outlets and thermostats. HVAC- Have working knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to maintain and repair HVAC systems. ON-CALL- 24 hr. emergency maintenance – ROTATION schedule. POOL- maintenance experience a plus REQUIREMENTS High School diploma and or equivalent, experience in all maintenance related skills. Accredited vocational training and/or HVAC certification a plus. Ability to follow checklists, understand and follow directions. MUST have a personal vehicle. Background check is required.
