What we look for Required • Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO. • Be a dedicated member of a North America Branch team willing to learn and be responsible for startup, commissioning, and aftermarket services for this fast-growing business. • Minimum of Eight (8) years of practical working experience on air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, industrial chillers, AHU’s or large roof top ducted units with strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience. • Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers and/or ammonia / hydrocarbon system components. • Maintain ammonia and hydrocarbon safety training certification. • Extensive experience in HVAC systems, (Chilled water loops, Pumping, Compressor enthalpy, Compressor trouble shooting and rebuild. • Mechanical shaft alignment using dial indicators, lasers, etc. of pumps, fans, Compressors. • Able to use vibration equipment to trouble shoot compressor drivelines. • Proficient in the operations, trouble shooting and repair of large tonnage chiller 460 vac VSD’s. • Travel maybe required 10% to 20% to support Branch Customers startup and commissioning activities as well as aftermarket service trouble shooting. • You will be required to pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiencies. • Opportunity to invest in career development.
