HVAC Apprentice Technician

Job Summary - $160 per diem for Traveling jobs! 10 hours OT per week! Annual Bonus offered as well! We are seeking a skilled Apprentice HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various HVAC equipment. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and practical skills to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in commercial settings. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, and refrigeration systems. • Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs or replacements. • Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems effectively. • Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards. • Carry materials/tools to work site from vehicle as needed • Build and plumb necessary connections for new installations or repairs. • Travel up to or sometimes more that 50% of the time. ($160 per diem on travel jobs) • Follow HVAC Technician's instructions on job site Skills • Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and components. • Proficiency in reading schematics for troubleshooting purposes. • Experience with appliance repair, particularly in relation to HVAC equipment. • Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. • Ability to design effective HVAC solutions based on client requirements. • Excellent problem-solving skills as a service technician in the field. • EPA 608 license a huge plus.
