Aerospace HVAC Maintenance Technician Job Description As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in manufacturing plants and offices. You will ensure that systems are running efficiently and reliably, adhering to industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities • Perform initial installation and start-up of complete HVAC systems, including components, electrical controls, and ducting. • Assist in the design, modification, installation, and preventive/predictive maintenance planning. • Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team. • Monitor HVAC systems and operations, ensuring routine preventative maintenance is performed according to established schedules. • Diagnose HVAC systems and make necessary repairs. • Repair or replace system components such as valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring fans, pumps, compressors, piping, and other functional components. • Conduct maintenance tasks within other disciplines, including electrical malfunctions, assembly, installation, and repair of machines, pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and sewer systems. • Perform alterations, repairs, and maintenance of buildings, floors, roofs, stairways, partitions, doors, windows, screens, scaffolding forms, wood fixtures, and furniture. • Report suspected and confirmed problems relating to equipment, utilities, structures, and grounds to the immediate supervisor. • Input maintenance and repair actions into equipment logs. Essential Skills • Advanced technical skills and knowledge in HVAC systems. • Competence in electrical and general mechanical maintenance disciplines. • Ability to use safety equipment as required by Title 29 CFR 1910, all parts. • Current and valid required state and city licenses. • Possession of a valid State of Oklahoma Driver License. • Proficiency in using basic hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Minimum 2 Year / Associate Degree or Technical School. • 4 - 7 years of HVAC maintenance experience. Why Work Here? Build your future with us! ABOUT THE JOB: The HVAC Technician is responsible for the safety, and quality of work associated with Get Ready, and HVAC activities to all WS products. This includes assisting with HVAC plan layouts, installs, and maintaining and repairing the heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems in the units. The HVAC Technician is expected to fully comply with all Williams Scotsman policies and all relevant laws and regulations. Success in this role will be dependent on the ability to conduct branch operations activities in a safe, cost-efficient, and high-quality manner. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Safety/Environment: • Acts in accordance with Williams Scotsman Safety, Transportation, and Environmental Policies • Leads and acts to promote employee health and safety results through creating a safer workplace, DuPont STOPâ„¢, training and observations, and regularly scheduled assessments of the branch • Attends periodic safety meetings • Maintains a clean and organized work area • Operates company vehicle safely and maintains a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record free from points Fleet & Efficient Use of Resources: • Ensures that trailers are ready for scheduled delivery dates with high 1st time quality, and within established accuracy parameters +/- 10% • Performs repairs, and modifications (where applicable), to all products to include framing and finish carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear, and all other facets of modular building repair • Plan new or modified installations to minimize was of materials and provide access for future maintenance • Monitor HVAC systems and operations and ensure that routine preventive maintenance is performed according to established schedules. • Maintains proper inventory levels of all equipment, tools, and materials required to complete daily service tasks • Perform HVAC system checks and maintenance per company guidelines, and repair any faulty equipment or systems • May be assigned to conduct service calls and provide courteous customer service in branch territories as required based on location need Customer Focus: • Uses Net Promoter System (NPS) to provide timely correspondence and to address internal issues • Ensure On-Time in Full Deliveries and Returns • Drives high levels of product quality (<60-day call & First Time Quality) • Builds strong relationships with internal and external customers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
