An international steel product manufacturing company is currently searching for an Electrical Engineer to join their facility in the Wheeling, WV area. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years’ experience in manufacturing and familiarity with industrial processes and machinery. This is a full-time, direct hire position. Electrical Engineer Responsibilities Include: • Conduct set-up, installation, and maintenance on industrial automation equipment and electrical controls • Analysis of equipment functions to improve efficiency and reduce machinery downtime • Research and implement potential new equipment for manufacturing • Collaborate with other departments regarding projects and process improvement initiatives • Assist with maintenance training and creating work instructions • Creation of activity reports and documentation for upper management • Other duties as assigned Electrical Engineer Requirements Include: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred, OR equivalent work experience • Minimum 2-3 years’ process, industrial, electrical and / or controls engineering experience (including internships, co-ops, etc.) in a manufacturing environment preferred • Good familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting, and electromechanical maintenance functions • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, electrical schematics, and maintenance documents • Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Strong communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment • This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment.
