Maintenance Electrician $35/hr 1st or 3rd Shift Available Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a High School Diploma or GED and have the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, logic, and wiring diagrams. The role requires a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (N.E.C.), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (O.S.H.A.) guidelines, and proficiency with electrical/electronic test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes. Responsibilities • Troubleshoot, repair, and test mechanical equipment such as conveyors, diverters, and packaging equipment. • Perform plumbing operations and utilize pipe fitting tools proficiently. • Ensure adherence to existing laws and operational requirements set by governing agencies. • Conduct electrical welding and apply basic knowledge of mechanical equipment to troubleshoot systems controlled by electrical devices. • Make correct and expedient repairs under pressure. • Lift and move objects weighing up to 80 pounds frequently. • Work flexible hours based on business needs. • Successfully complete a powered vehicle training program and maintain certification every two years. Essential Skills • Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, including reading ladder logic and checking inputs/outputs. • Experience with control cabinets. • 2-year degree with 2 years of on-the-job experience or 4+ years of on-the-job experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in conveyor maintenance, ladder logic, and high voltage systems. • Ability to read schematics and perform welding. • Familiarity with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs. • Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics.
