Electrical Technician

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a qualified and experienced Electrical Technician to join the maintenance team for a large manufacturer in the Clarksburg area. This is a contract to hire opportunity that offers benefits, holiday, vacation, and retirement options. Compensation starting at $20/hr! Duties to include: • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on production equipment (e.g., extruders, bag machines, winders, resin systems) • Replace AC/DC motors, relays, circuit breakers, heater bands, thermocouples, and control components • Perform and document preventive maintenance on machines and facility • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams • Install, wire, and bend conduit (rigid and EMT) • Operate diagnostic tools such as volt meters and amprobes • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and use of PPE • Maintain clean, organized work areas and contribute to good housekeeping practices • Collaborate with other departments and attend safety/training meetings • Assist in leading small task teams and training less experienced personnel • Be available for overtime, call-ins, and a rotating schedule Qualified Candidates should: • High school diploma or GED required • Vocational or technical training in electrical maintenance preferred • Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance required • Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting • Ability to read technical blueprints and wiring diagrams • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Must demonstrate regular attendance and reliability Apply Now!!
