Electrical Maintenance SME Lead

Purpose: This is an operational position that exists to identify, plan, coordinate and supervise work on the assets associated with the Gambrinus Facility, with a focus on the electrical equipment. Responsibilities: • Improve equipment and process reliability utilizing available delay data to prioritize work. • Increase efficiency of maintenance workforce through detailed job plans and technical instruction when required. • Coordinate contracted services and repairs based upon asset operating schedules. • Manage spare parts inventory through controlled storerooms and TimkenSteel identification standards. • Ensure execution of shutdown/outage work to a predetermined budget and schedule. • Communicate effectively across business departments to improve job execution and asset reliability. • Root cause analysis. Technical Skills: • Familiarity with IBM Maximo CMMS or other comparable CMMS. • Reading Electrical Engineering Drawings. • Project Management. • Troubleshooting electrical systems. Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma with at least 12 years of experience as an electrician, electrical technician, maintenance planner, or maintenance supervisor. Preferred Qualifications: • High school diploma with at least 25 years of experience as an electrician, electrical technician, maintenance planner, or maintenance supervisor. • Associate's degree in electrical engineering technology or electrical engineering with at least 9 years of experience as an electrician, electrical technician, maintenance planner, or maintenance supervisor. • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering technology or electrical engineering with at least 7 years of experience as an electrician, electrical technician, maintenance planner, or maintenance supervisor. Job Title: Electrical Wireman $20-$23/HR Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Wireman to join our team in an industrial-commercial setting, focused on assembling large power distribution equipment. The role involves performing electrical assembly and wiring of control panels and switchboards for switchgear equipment, using schematics to wire panels and units, and bending/installing conduit (Rigid & EMT). Responsibilities • Perform electrical assembly and wiring of control panels and switchboards for switchgear equipment. • Utilize schematics to wire panels and units. • Bend and install conduit (Rigid & EMT). • Complete the building and wiring of units that can take over a month to finish. • Lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion. Essential Skills • Commercial or Industrial Electrical experience. • Experience with conduit - Rigid or EMT. • Ability to read and interpret schematics. • Proficiency with electrical tools. • Experience with point-to-point wiring and electrical assembly. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Must have own tools. • Wiring experience in industrial or commercial settings. • Troubleshooting skills for wiring and component application problems. • Switchgear experience is a plus. • Journeyman Card is a plus. • Industrial electrician background is a plus. • Commercial/residential electrical experience is considered. Equipment can include, but is not limited to: meters, instrument transformers, cluster racks, test switches, test equipment, etc. Job Description What You'll Do: • Receive, inspect, test, adjust, clean, repair, replace parts and subassemblies of single phase and polyphase meters and make incidental calculations. • Test, adjust, repair and program all types of single phase, network and poly phase meters, • Assist in the testing and maintenance of all electronic metering equipment as assigned • Check company inventory regularly and assist in maintaining adequate stock of meters and other equipment. Participate in annual physical meter inventory. • Assist in testing load research, time of use and electronic data recorders and more complex electronic metering equipment • Mount and wire meters, metering equipment and instrument transformers. • Assist in the testing of instrument transformers • Develop computer skills and apply them to assigned work. • Use and care for shop tools, test equipment, portable measuring instruments, and other equipment used in meter lab work. • Calibrate, repair and test standards, instruments, controls and equipment as assigned • Maintain testing records, as required • Learn to calibrate and repair capacitor, voltage regulator, electronic recloser controls. • Provide training and support to other employees as assigned • Assist employees of equal or higher classification • Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For: • Education requirements are listed below: Must have a two year associate degree in electrical/electronic technology. • Work Experience requirement listed below: None expected for this level of progression. • Required License(s)/Certification(s) are listed below: Must possess and maintain a valid state driver license.
