ROLE OBJECTIVE: The Instrumentation Electrician works under the direction of management and is responsible for the installation, repair and/or replacement of all pneumatic, electrical and electronic instrument of distributed control system (DCS) components. Maintenance Electrician

Bend and install conduit. Look up and utilize electrical codes in the NEC. Basic wiring such as receptacles, switches, and lighting. Proper use of all PPE (NFPA 70E, and NFPA 70 requirements). Basic motor control such as selection, installation, and troubleshooting. Basic control wiring such as pushbuttons, limit, proximity, and photo switches. Basic troubleshooting control and motor circuits. Troubleshoot complex equipment such as Holzma, CNC, etc. Install and/or adjust variable frequency drives Install and/or adjust temperature controllers. Install and/or adjust burner control valves and motors Install and/or troubleshoot burner safety controls Install and/or adjust PLC’s. Program PLC’s. Basic navigation of CNC controls and their functions. Training Complete CPR & AED training BJVS machine shop or equivalent. BJVS welding or equivalent. BJVS electrical or equivalent. Complete NFPA 70E Arc flash training certification.
