About the position Battle Motors is seeking an Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our facility located at 1951 Reiser Avenue SE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663. As a leader in the heavy-duty work truck industry, we pride ourselves on delivering efficient and effective solutions, particularly with the evolution of our new Electric Vehicle (EV) technology. This position is crucial as we continue to grow and innovate in our field. In this role, you will be responsible for making facility and equipment repairs, operating forklifts and scissor lifts, and utilizing a variety of hand and power tools. Your expertise in electrical and HVAC systems will be essential as you maintain a clean and organized work area, install new machinery and equipment, and determine the reasons for any system or component malfunctions. You will create maintenance or repair plans to address these issues and verify the completion of projects while providing updates and anticipating company needs. Safety is a top priority at Battle Motors, and you will be expected to comply with all health and safety regulations, keeping records of all maintenance and repair work conducted. You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving hazards, as well as opportunities to avoid them.
