Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and residential electrical work, with a strong understanding of high voltage systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC). This role requires proficiency in blueprint reading, as well as the ability to use various electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a variety of settings, including construction sites. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC standards. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine layout of electrical systems. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical installations. • Conduct tests using ohmmeters and ammeters to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems. • Troubleshoot electrical issues by identifying problems and implementing effective solutions. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met. • Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments, including construction sites. Industrial Electrician

ABH Enterprises/Mid States Asphalt is currently in search of an experienced Industrial Electrician to complete general plant maintenance and troubleshoot maintenance problems for our 5 manufacturing facilities in Tuscaloosa , AL. This position will include competitive pay and benefits. The Position we are looking to fill would be an 7a-4p. Job duties will include but are not limited to: • Must be able to use a meter to trouble shoot relays, fuses, start / stop circuits, contactors, MCC buckets, VFD’s • Restarts and clearing of faults • Running conduit • Testing electrical circuits • Installing 480-volt motors, VFD’s and starters • Must be able to read simple electrical blueprints with little supervision. • Maintains a safe and clean work environment while adhering to All Safety procedures, rules and regulations. • Troubleshooting and repairing of industrial machinery, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. • Follows electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications • Uses hand tools, power tools, and electrical/electronic test equipment. • Works with minimum supervision. • Any other work as assigned by Supervisor/Manager Weekend work and overtime will be required.
