Job Summary: To assist plant operations in running efficient with minimal downtime. Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace PLCs and related hardware • Be able to maintain and troubleshoot mill control systems, I/O schematics, motor control diagnostics on DC and AC, high voltage power systems 6900 • Perform routine preventative maintenance procedures as per scheduled • Knowledge in Relay logic • Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments • Ability to read and follow drawings and document / communicate all machine control modifications to electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to diagnose the root cause of the problem • Provide input for documentation and electronic versions of all electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics including panel High School diploma or equivalent required with over 7 years of electrical maintenance in and manufacturing setting or a two- year Industrial Maintenance degree with 3 years or more of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. • Must be a Journeyman certified electrician or equivalent which will include providing documentation of 1080 program hours of industrial electrician experience. • Ability to demonstrate skills at a Journeyman level. • Perform layout, assembly, and wiring of component parts in installation, replacement and repair of systems and equipment; make sketches for fabrication of repair parts. NO per diem or relocation available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in/near the area. • Must have industry recognized (or equivalent) certification in either Millwright Mechanic or Electrical / Instrumentation trades • NCCER Preferred-- Pre employment NCCER testing required. • Pay range is $26-$38 per hour depending on certifications and years of experience General Job Description: Plans layout, installs and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures and control equipment.
