Electrical Maintenance Technician

This is a high-impact role in a heavy industrial environment, ideal for skilled electricians with industrial maintenance and electrical systems. Key Responsibilities: • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on large-scale industrial equipment. • Install and commission equipment such as rolling mills, conveyors, CNC machines, casting equipment, and furnaces. • Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems, AC/DC drives, 3-phase motors, and high-voltage equipment. • Conduct electrical installations and repairs, including work on switchgears, generators, and control systems. • Ensure precision and attention to detail when working with tight tolerances and complex systems. Required Skills & Experience: • Minimum of 5 years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting. • Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens preferred). • Experience with AC/DC drives, high-voltage systems, and switchgear maintenance. • Proven ability to commission equipment and perform detailed electrical diagnostics. • aluminum manufacturing or similar heavy industrial environments preferred.
