Electrical Supervisor

Job Responsibilities • Responsible for coordinating and managing the day to day field operations of projects, including safe work practices, workforce, materials, and equipment. • Supervises, mentors, and motivates company workforce on the project. • Work closely with the Project Manager to oversee and ensure the assigned scope of work is completed per customer safety, schedule, and quality requirements. • Plan and lay out areas of work in advance to ensure needed allocation of daily workforce, material, and equipment. • Coordinate all electrical work with general contractor and subcontractors on project. • Assist Project Manager and Estimating Team with pricing of any scope changes and change orders. • Monitor workforce during installations and progress to ensure quality control throughout project. • Manage daily progress reports and weekly time sheets for project workforce. • Receive material and verify shipment quantities match material Purchase Orders. • Track company tools and equipment and ensure they are maintained in good working order. Qualifications • Minimum of 5 years' experience required running large scale electrical projects. • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and schematics. • Electrical license preferred but not mandatory. • Must have verifiable work experience and be willing to travel. Travel package is provided. • Excellent organizational skills with careful attention to detail and timely follow-through. • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills. • Must be self-directed and capable of handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision. • Able to work effectively in stressful, time-sensitive environments. • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). • High standard of integrity and professionalism. Maintenance Worker-Electrical Plumbing

Primary Purpose: Responsible for assisting on-site leadership of maintenance and repair services for assigned district facilities or specific trades area. Assist District Electrical Journeymen and Electrical Apprentice to maintain the physical school plant in a condition of operating excellence so it may be fully used at all times. Qualifications: Education/Certification: Clear and valid Texas driver’s license Special Knowledge/Skills: • Specific knowledge of one craft used in building repair and maintenance including carpentry; electrical repair; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; painting; or plumbing • General knowledge of other crafts used in building repair and maintenance • Ability to direct and supervise personnel • Ability to read blueprints and schematics • Ability to perform mathematical calculationsEffective organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills Experience: Four years’ experience in a craft field preferred Major Responsibilities and Duties: All under certified Electrical Journeyman’s Supervision • Assist in Maintaining preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all Electrical/Plumbing equipment. Perform Electrical/Plumbing quality testing as needed. • Assist in Receiving and complete work orders. Select materials and hardware, make time and materials cost estimates, and maintain accurate records on material and labor used. • Assist in Inspecting jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean. • Assist energy manager to complete energy conservation surveys to realize most efficient, cost-effective use of Electrical/Plumbing energy. TARS- ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Overview: Skyship Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician with specific experience in supporting line handling operations to support the DHS Customs & Border Protection Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) program. The TARS program leverages aerostat systems to provide persistent surveillance and detection capabilities, to the U.S. Government customer across eight (8) different operational sites along the US Southern border in multiple locations including Puerto Rico, Florida, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. The successful candidate will have experience managing aerostat flight operations on platforms similar in size to the TARS aerostats. You will be part of a comprehensive flight crew activity supporting aerostat pre-launch, launch, ascent, transition, station keeping, and recovery. Secondary responsibilities will include performing recurring equipment maintenance on aerostat and radar systems, as well as support functions related to site operations (such as security, landscaping, and logistical functions. A summary of responsibilities are as follows: Primary Duties: • Flight Crew Member (pre/post flight, launch/recovery, helium toppings, snubbing, inflations/ deflations, tether inspections, proficiency in all emergency procedures for both moored and airborne flight aerostat operations) • Under supervision, perform corrective and preventive maintenance activities on the aerostat pressure control subsystems, power subsystems, mechanical and hydraulic subsystems, aerostat hardware and rigging, tether subsystem, and aerostat envelope. • Supports such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, tracing relationships in signal flow, and regularly using complex test instruments (e.g., dual trace oscilloscopes, deviation meters, pulse generators). • May require supervision to perform operation and maintenance of enclosed mooring system and winch vehicles, site power generators, stand motor vehicles, special man-lift vehicles, and forklifts. • Assists with all aerostat system pre-flight and post-flight checks and aerostat system inspections as required. • Assists with operations and maintenance of compressed-gas equipment, including helium transfers to the aerostat for inflation and replenishment purposes. • Performs corrosion control and site facilities maintenance. • Operate general purpose and special purpose vehicles to include man lift operations to heights of 150 feet. • Maintains a thorough understanding of digital design as relates to radar signal generators, MTI, IF receivers, clutter rejection, mixers, multipliers, low noise amplifiers, and digital displays. • Works in exterior and interior work environments, sometimes in inclement weather. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Secondary Duties include: • Maintain and understand site documentation such as parts request forms, equipment condition tags, timecards, and flight data and maintenance logs. • Coordinates resupply and repair logistics activities for the aerostat subsystems. • Trains and certifies other personnel in selected aerostat subsystem procedures. • Supports all security, logistics, and site-specific requirements as directed when not in conflict with primary electrical maintenance responsibilities. Required Qualifications: • GED or High School Diploma. • 3 Years’ experience in electrical maintenance. Associate and Bachelor of Science degree in any technical discipline can be substituted for years’ experience. • Ability to obtain flight operator certification. • Valid U.S. Driver’s license required. • Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write English fluently. • Must be willing to work in a 24/7 shift scenario and be assigned to various shifts as required to meet mission requirements. • Proof of U.S. residency required. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day. • Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands, working at heights with fall protection devices. • Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders. • May be required to lift up to 25 pounds and carry for short distances. • Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth. • Normally works in an office setting with controlled temperature. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior Aerostat Operator experience of any size Aerostat.
