In this role you will receive outstanding hands-on training and will be provided with the support and encouragement you need to succeed. Essential Job Functions: • Plan and perform a normal range of operations connected with the assembly and erection of company-produced machines. • Ability to operate various hand and power tools properly, safely, efficiently, and effectively. • Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions. • Operate various hand and measuring equipment involved in assembly. • Drill, tapping, mounting, and routing wires and cable assemblies on various mechanical/electrical structures. • Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits. • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures. • Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition. • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills; be able to independently solve problems while interacting with different teammates on daily processes and flow. • Able to multi-task various duties throughout the day as needed, with an ability to be versatile and flexible. • Perform other work duties as assigned. Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Electrician/Maintenance Technician Pay Rate: up to $35.00/Hour (Based on Experience) Location: Akron, OH Shift: 2nd and 3rd (2nd shift 2 pm to 10:15 pm/3rd shift 10 pm to 616 am) Brief job summary As the electrical maintenance technician you will be asked to have strong industrial electrical troubleshooting and electrician skill sets, and mechanical aptitude. Have a background that includes machinery troubleshooting, electrical schematics and blueprint reading, NEC understanding, basic understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics. You will perform routine and extensive range of work in the repair and installation. Execute work within established procedures and process under both verbal and written instructions. We also ask you to be hands-on and willing to pitch in. Job duties • Experience with 480 vac 3-phase and lower voltages. • Reworking and installation of electrical wiring for equipment, per NEC guidelines. • Troubleshoot and replace faulty electrical components such as relays, fuses, power supplies, switches, motors and position sensing devices, machinery controls, etc. • Performs routine preventative maintenance and ensures that machines continue to run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently. Diagnosing and maintaining mechanical systems, equipment and electrical controls is essential. • Repairs on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment • Troubleshoot PLC and drive control issues. Industrial Electrician

Shift consists of a 4/10 schedule. 6am-4pm. No evenings or weekends! All tools and uniforms provided! High majority of work is performed inside in either an air conditioned or heated environment. Shin-Etsu Silicones is seeking an Industrial Electrician. responsible for providing electrical installation for capital projects and maintenance for manufacturing processes and facilities, including industrial lighting. Duties & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. • Interpret drawings and determine layout of electrical systems. • Install, repair, and procure all required hardware, fixtures, and required components for new project installations and plant maintenance repairs on electrical or electronic components of industrial machinery or equipment utilizing hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment and following National Electric Code standards. • Install various types of conduit, pull and terminate wiring for power, controls, and communications. • Work with various voltages including 480V, 208V, 240V, 120V and 24VDC. • Perform work for engineering, maintenance, and IT departments. Troubleshoot electrical circuits, power distribution, and controls hardware. • Document and track changes to electrical drawings. • Work with Engineering to produce As Built Drawings at the completion of capital projects. • Assist Engineering group and others as assigned to test new systems during startup. • Provide hands-on problem-solving, analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance that will improve reliability, productivity, and decrease downtime on existing or new equipment. • Support maintenance function on an as needed basis. • Perform other duties as assigned by manager. Education & Experience: • Highschool diploma or equivalent required. • Completion of apprenticeship program with journeyman’s card. • 2+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience required. • Experience in the installation of Allen-Bradley PLC's, Human Machine Interface, and Control Networks is a plus. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Read blue prints, schematics, and layout drawings for wiring, pneumatics, and PLC’s. • Working knowledge of National Electric Code. • Strong electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot industrial machines. • Ability to work without supervision on projects and daily work. • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. • Work effectively within a team environment. • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. This includes being proactive in your approach to all issues in order to identify or eliminate potential problem areas. • Ability to take direction and carry out instructions from the manager in an orderly and efficient manner. • Ability to lead by example and display a strong work ethic for others to follow. • Ability to work independently and in groups and be self-motivated in both settings. Work Environment: • This position operates in a variety of settings including an office, indoor manufacturing facility, warehouse, and outdoors. • The role routinely uses a variety of power tools and hand tools.
