Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing and industrial operations team. This role involves performing complex electrical maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and ensuring the optimal operation of electrical systems across various machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, automation, and mechanical integration, contributing to the continuous improvement of plant reliability and safety. Responsibilities • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage equipment, sensors, and distributed control systems to minimize downtime. • Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, calibration tools, precision measuring instruments, ohmmeters, and diagnostic software such as Calypso. • Perform repairs and replacements on motors, drives, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), CNC machinery, vision inspection systems, and other automation equipment. • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose faults and implement effective solutions. • Calibrate sensors, measurement devices, and control systems to ensure precision operation within manufacturing processes. • Support field service activities by installing new equipment, upgrading existing systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. • Collaborate with mechanical teams to integrate electrical components with hydraulic systems and mechanical machinery. • Utilize AutoCAD for designing or modifying electrical layouts and schematics as needed. • Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications for compliance and future reference. • Assist in training team members on electrical safety procedures and proper equipment handling. Skills • Extensive experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in electrical maintenance within manufacturing environments. • Proficiency in working with hydraulics, sensors, vision inspection systems, CNC machinery, and low/high voltage systems. • Solid understanding of E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principles along with mechanical knowledge relevant to industrial settings. • Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), calibration techniques, and schematics interpretation. • Familiarity with AutoCAD for electrical design modifications; experience with Calypso or similar diagnostic software is advantageous. • Knowledge of safety standards related to high voltage work and field service operations. • Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting complex electrical issues. • Experience working in manufacturing environments that utilize CNC machines or military-grade equipment is preferred. • Strong customer service orientation when collaborating with internal teams or external vendors during maintenance activities. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies such as vision inspection systems or advanced sensor networks.
