SUMMARY Ensure maintenance and safety of Facility, Equipment, Building Structure and Grounds. Troubleshoot and solve problems related to electrical and mechanical equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES •Arrive at work station at or before start of shift •Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues •Conduct routine inspections of equipment and premises •Test, diagnose and repair motors and motor starters •General mechanical troubleshooting, repair and modifications •Preventative maintenance and record keeping •Conduct basic plumbing repairs •Conduct basic building repairs (carpentry) •Conduct safety repairs •Perform minor building electrical modifications e.g. run conduit and wire •Run data cables •Perform Maintenance Mechanic duties when applicable •Build cabinets •Replace ballasts when applicable •All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS •Ability to read schematics, check blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary •Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting •Forklift and PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) certified and pass recertification •Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with certifications and license •Proven maintenance experience •Skilled in the use of hand and power tools •Ability to take apart machines, equipment or devices to remove and replace defective parts •Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices •Strong organizational and follow up skills •Eye for detail •Ability to work independently •Strong time management skills •Experience in Printing or Printing related field •Basic chiller and HVAC experience a plus •Contribute to a safe working environment and be able to work with others, must be able to follow direction and also be self motivated •Must be able to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
