Essential Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college. • Licensed Electrical Engineer with ability to be licensed in multiple states. • Related experience in Commercial and/or Industrial system design, with experience in water and wastewater facilities a plus. • Experience as the electrical discipline lead on project and responsible to the project manager or client. • Project management experience, or interest/capability in becoming a project manager. • Understand design codes, standards, specifications and ability to interpret them. • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, field surveys, construction observation, etc. Preferred Qualifications • Minimum of 5+ years' experience • Proficient in applicable electrical codes, interior lighting design, exterior/outdoor lighting design, voltage drop calculations, power distribution design, one-line diagrams, schematics, back-up power systems, and control systems. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Conducting field investigations, condition assessments, writing reports and interfacing with clients. • SKM proficiency in short circuit, load flow, fault analysis, and arc flash.
