Due to an increase in electrical needs, we are hiring for a Service Electrician. Must have a current ND, MN journeyman license or be able to obtain the required license within 6 months of hire. Will be doing service work in residential, commercial, and agricultural settings. This position is higher than average pay $20-$30/hr DOE and full benefits (medical, dental, vacation, vision, 401K, AFLAC). You will work 40+ hours a week depending on needs. See More Details >>About the position Responsibilities • Receive and clean meters and equipment removed from service for repair and reuse. • Inspect, repair, test, program, and adjust electrical energy measuring devices including meters, transducers, current transformers, and potential transformers. • Assemble, program, install, test, and repair transformer-rated meters and associated equipment. • Witness or test interconnection meters and associated equipment. • Assemble, test, make minor repairs, recondition, and conduct acceptance testing of load management control equipment. • Test and complete minor repairs of cable and fault locating equipment. Requirements • A two-year associate degree in electrical or electronics or equivalent training and experience. • Thorough knowledge of single and three-phase electrical circuits and electronic components. • Basic computer skills and understanding. • Ability to work independently or with others and take responsibility for organizing, scheduling, and completing assigned work efficiently. • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to all parts of the system as assigned.
