Job Summary: The Ainsworth family is looking for an energetic team member who specializes in the design, installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems. Their duties include inspecting electrical components and ensure building systems comply with safety regulations, examining blueprints, diagnosing and fixing issues, performing routine maintenance and providing technical direction and training. This role will include oversight of repairs and work in a manner to provide guidance and insight to fellow technicians. Key Responsibilities: • Diagnosing electrical issues by reading diagrams and blueprints • Installing and repairing wiring and conductive elements and electrical components in buildings and other structures • Testing and inspecting electrical work like wiring and lighting to ensure safe installation and compliance with regulatory codes • Planning and designing layouts of fixtures, wiring pathways and other electrical elements inside commercial and residential buildings • Identifying and mitigating safety hazards, code violations and other electrical issues • Performing system maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, adjusting, and fixing • Delegating and directing the activities of outside contractors where needed including setting priorities, performing quality control checks and certifying invoices. • Completion of electronic or paper-based records of maintenance tasks. • Planning and directing maintenance operations under supervision. • Problem solving for the team. • Instructing team members on proper maintenance techniques and providing hands on training.
