ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems. This role involves working in various environments, including field service and industrial settings, where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment. Duties • Interprets and installation of construction drawings, diagrams and schematics • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with industry standards. • Candidate must have the ability to be on your feet duration of the shift, as well as, having good hand-eye coordination • Candidate works independently in performing assigned electrical tasks but refers very technical or unusual working problems to a supervisor for consideration • Candidate must be able to read and work from blueprints, schematics, drawings or sketches • Be punctual, prepared and ready to work as scheduled or as needed • Completes commercial electrical service projects on time, with minimal defects within budget per company specifications and trade standards • Performs electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems, bus/motor coach/sprinter circuits, panels, lighting fixtures, and control equipment • Ability to problem-solve • Works with little to minimal supervision in conjunction with supervisor on projects assigned • Competent utilization of various shop tools and equipment; ladders, multi meters, circuit finders etc • Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules and standards of OSHA, and company guidelines Qualifications • Requires 3 years hands-on experience • Vast knowledge volt usage; 12-24 and 120-240 • Candidate must demonstrate working knowledge, skills and abilities associated with position • Candidate must have the ability to diagnose, prescribe and perform construction and or repair procedures • Candidate should have considerable knowledge of the standard practices and or methods of electrical trade • Must be skilled in the use and care electrical tools, as well as, owning your own working set • Maintains a clean work area at all times Join us as we strive for excellence in electrical services while ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
