Key Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential homes and commercial buildings while prioritizing safety at all times. • Work with local building officials and inspectors to maintain productive and professional relationships. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems, ensuring safe and compliant installations. • Perform voltage testing, circuit breaker installations, and upgrades to electrical panels and systems while adhering to strict safety protocols. • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing devices like multimeters, Meggers, power conditioning test equipment, and fault locating equipment, following all of the best practices and safety rules, including lockout/tagout procedures, to ensure efficient and hazard-free resolutions. • Wire and connect power distribution systems, lighting, and control systems while adhering to local codes, National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, and company safety regulations, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE). • Collaborate with a dedicated team to complete projects on time and to the highest quality, maintaining a safety-first mindset in all tasks.
