Minimum Qualifications An Electrician I should possess, at a minimum, a high school degree or GED, supplemented by the completion of a standard electrical training course and two (2) to three (3) years of experience in the electrical field, or any equivalent combination of education and field experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. An Electrician II should possess, at a minimum, a high school degree or GED, supplemented by the completion of a standard electrical training course and three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the electrical field, or any equivalent combination of education and field experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. Low voltage wiring and fire alarm systems experience is a plus. Necessary Special Requirements: • Possess a Commercial Driver’s License, Class B with no air brake restrictions, or the ability to obtain this license by the end of the six (6) month probationary period. • Must be available for 24-hour emergency call response as needed. • Must be comfortable and able to work at heights, ladders, lift equipment, and bucket trucks.
