Electrical Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Job Overview We are seeking to hire a skilled Maintenance Electrician for 1st shift in Athens, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with the ability to work on high voltage equipment and perform installations, maintenance, and repairs in an industrial setting. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical codes and the ability to read blueprints, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment. • Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ammeters and voltmeters. • Ability to troubleshoot PLC's (Allen Bradley). • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation of electrical components. • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems. • Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols and regulations. Skills • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work. • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. • Familiarity with frame carpentry techniques as they relate to electrical installations. • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to use diagnostic equipment effectively. • Previous experience as an industrial electrician is preferred. HardHat Workforce Solutions is looking to immediately hire Commercial Electricians for new construction projects in the area. Pay rate: $25-$35 per hour based on experience.
