Job Title: Carpenter Job Description We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented carpenter to join our team. If you have a passion for craftsmanship and experience with trim or cabinet installation, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities • Install custom cabinets and architectural trim, including crown molding and baseboards. • Assemble cabinetry and millwork components both in the shop and on-site. • Read and interpret tape measures and basic construction drawings. • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. • Occasionally assist with gluing laminate on desks and other surfaces during installation. • Ride along with experienced team members from project to project. Essential Skills • Experience in finish carpentry, cabinet installation, or trim work. • Strong skills in crown molding installation. • Ability to read a tape measure and use basic hand tools. • Experience in carpentry or woodworking. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Previous experience installing custom or high-end cabinetry. • Ability to read blueprints. • Proficiency with hand tools, nail guns, and tape measures. Work Environment Work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. The work environment is in construction, involving remodeling and building various commercial projects. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, long pants, long shirts, safety glasses, a hard hat, and a hi-vis vest. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ladson, South Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Overview We are a small, higher-end residential finish carpentry business. The owner is on-site and hands-on daily. Good environment to learn new skills or refine existing skills with challenging tasks. Currently only one crew but opportunity to develop as a lead and manage a small crew if desired.
