Summary You are responsible to study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated. You will be responsible for the daily execution and on-site operations for our projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • You will be required to coordinate and meet sub-trades onsite • Layout of areas within the construction parameters • Determine the type and amount of material required for each project • Transporting the materials and equipment to each work site • Constructing wood framed walls, installing drywall • Inspecting the integrity of structures upon their installation • Monitoring inventory and replenishing supplies, as needed • Task driven and have the desire to please the customer • Complying with all applicable safety regulations • Training and managing apprentices and subordinates • Other related duties as required or assigned. • Check work along the way to ensure it's up to code and specifications. Physical Demands The duties of this Job are physically demanding work including lifting and carrying heavy objects, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, or crawling in awkward positions. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50-75 pounds. Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position is exposed to high temperatures; cool/cold temperatures; loud noises and fumes. Work in the construction area poses significantly greater risk due to moving construction equipment and active construction zones with trip and fall hazards.
