Job Description We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Foreman to lead and execute various construction projects. This role involves self-performing services across diverse industries, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and efficient project management. Responsibilities • Provide self-perform services on assigned projects, including selective demolition, progress clean-up, and final cleaning assistance. • Execute rough carpentry tasks such as rough framing and wall layout. • Perform finish carpentry duties, including crown molding and casework installation. • Install commercial doors and hardware. • Handle patching, finishing, and painting tasks. • Perform miscellaneous flooring and vinyl base patching. • Install specialties and suspended ceiling grid/tile (ACT). • Quantify, order, and track materials and equipment, ensuring efficient use and storage. • Review and understand contract scope-of-work and report change orders in real-time to the Project Manager. • Track self-perform labor against the project budget in real-time. • Assist in the procurement of project-specific building permits when necessary. • Perform work in industries such as convenience stores, general commercial, grocery stores, healthcare, manufacturing, multi-family, commercial office spaces, restaurants, retail Essential Skills • 3 to 5 years of carpentry experience on light-commercial and commercial projects. • Safety-first mentality with OSHA 10 certification; OSHA 30 preferred. • Forklift and Scaffold Certifications. • Proficient in reading and understanding project plans, specifications, and shop drawings. • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPFP) systems. • Excellent organizational skills and effective verbal and written communication. • Proficient problem-solving skills. • Ability to lead on-site self-perform crews and subcontracted vendors.
